Brenda Peay-Atkins was born on June 14, 1964 in Brooklyn, New York. Brenda was preceded in death by her mother Ernestine. Brenda was educated by the New York City School System. She joined the New York City Traffic Department where she was employed as a traffic agent for 33 years Brenda enjoyed going to Empire Casino and eating at Olive Garden. Brenda enjoyed a good laugh; she was always watching some comedy show. She was always smiling while enjoying the company of her husband, family and friends. She often spoke of her fun childhood memories of coming to Brooklyn ( Eastern Parkway) every weekend to hang out with her cousins, The Lloyds. Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: her husband Charles, her father Johnny Peay; her four children Geoffrey, Gregory, Destiny and Emmanuel Jr. Two sisters Deborah and Nony. Two brothers Rashad Muhammad and Steven. Two aunts Deborah Lloyd and Edrena Moses. Brenda leaves a host of other family members and friends. She also leaves her Traffic family to cherish her memories. Brenda leaves the Atkins Family with fond memories whom embraced her with open arms. Brenda leaves the Lloyd Family with beautiful memories of a daughter/ sister/ cousin/friend, who left too soon but will never be forgotten
