Doreen Riley was born in Brooklyn NY to the late Norman Riley and Anna Riley on April 14, 1958.
Doreen attended the New York City School System with hopes of pursuing her dream in Culinary Arts Doreen later decided to start a family. She would become the mother to 3 Daughters and 1 Son.
Doreen also known to her family as “Annie” was the 4th of 10 children. Although born into a large family Doreen manage to shine. First by being giving the moniker of Annie after her mother Anna. Then by always stealing to show with her comedic nature (no one could make up words like she could). Last but not least, Doreen had knack for cooking which always managed to get the family to come together. For Doreen cooking and being around her family was like a personal holiday. This was times she was most happy. She would laugh until she cried while cracked jokes (on others).
Doreen was called to rest on Thursday, September 27, 2018 where she will join her Oldest Daughter Lakimba Riley.
She leaves to cherish her memory 3 children Prince, Tanisha, & Shantese Riley. Her mother Anna Riley, 3 Sisters Louise Davis, Joann Joiner and Charlena Riley; 4 Brothers Kirk, Steven, Jason & Joseph Riley; 4 Grandchildren Javier Riley, Ellec & Elleca Adams and Riley Sealey. A host of nieces, nephews, other relative and friends.
