On Thursday Morning October 4, 2018, the Lord in his infinite wisdom called Evelyn Lavon Lloyd home . Evelyn Lloyd of Brooklyn, NY. was born July 19, 1927.  She was kind, considerate and full of life. She always had a story to tell you which was sure to bring you joy and lots of giggles.

Evelyn  attended school in the New York City educational system. She received Christ at an early age.  She met and fell in love with her now deceased husband James Herbert Lloyod.  From that union were born three sons.  Rodney (deceased), James Jr. (deceased) and Ira 

Evelyn worked at I.P. Morgan Chase Band as an accountant  for several years until she retired in 1993.  She had a kind heart and warm smile.

 Evelyn Lavon Lloyd closed her eyes to this natural life and was guided through the transition from Earth to Heaven into the loving hands of Jesus Christ on October 04, 2018.

We are thankful for the life of the beautiful Evelyn Lavon Lloyd. She will truly be missed but her soul will live on forever more. Into heavens gates, she joins those who have gone on before her  that couldn't wait to greet her.

Evelyn  leaves to cherish her memory: Her son. Ira Lloyd,  Grandchildren, Chatiqe, faheem, Hassan, Nadge, Shadai, Arianna, Destiny,  Marcus,. Sisters, Dorothey and Mattie.  Great grand children: Destiny and Faith. Twelve nieces, three nephews, two God children, and a host of great nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends. Evelyn Lloyd was a loving mother. A faithful devoted sister, an amazing Grandmother, loyal Aunt, caring Cousin and trusted friend who fought a good fight and she won the race. At the finish line she received her wings. The crown of righteousness is laid upon her head which the Lord has made her anew. She is finally free. Although we loved her dearly, GOD loved her best.
