Joycelyn K. Williams

Joycelyn Keziah Williams, a.k.a Baby, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday 17th March, 2019, while at the Brookdale Hospital Medical Centre due to a short illness. She was 86 years old.

Joycelyn was born January 12th 1933, in Scarborough Tobago and grew up in Mt. Marie before relocating to Trinidad as a young adult.  She was a praying soul; always reading her bible and following God’s instructions as she navigated through this life.

She is survived by her seven children: Salome Williams, Lennox Williams, Mahalia Williams, Claudia Williams, Lennard Williams, Daniella Williams and Destyni Williams.

She was grandmother to Lisa Ann Thomas, Lian Williams, Lennita Williams, Rayna Michelle Williams, Malikiya Hinds, Folasade Hinds and Omari Hinds; and great grandmother to Jinui Thomas. 

She was sister to Mary Magdalene Williams aka Girlie and Winston Williams aka Boyie.  Aunt to Neriscia, Vanessa, Anna, Brian, Richie, Gary, Patricia, Samuel, Cathleen and Ethleen; and Cousin to the Solomon Family, Frasier Family, John Family and many others.

Her children pay this tribute to her, “God shall wipe all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.” Revelation 21:4  Mum you will be sadly missed and quietly remembered every day… No longer in our lives to share, but in our hearts you’ll always be.  The love you have given us leaves a profound and beautiful memory until we meet again.  We will always love you…
