Renee Campbell Obituary

Renee Aliasha Campbell was born to Aliasha Ann Person and Paul Perry on May 23, 1988 I

Harlem NY. Raised by her late great grandmother Phylencia Henry and late Grandfather Carlton Hayes Henry Sr. Renee was a very strong, smart, witty, caring and lived hard. She took care of her great grandmother when she became ill. She was so full of life and definitely the life of a party whenever she went out. She knew how to have a good time but always remained grounded. Graduating from M.S/P.S 15 middle school and Bronx Guild High School. Where a lot of friends became family. When it came to making people laugh Renee was a natural born comedian. Whether is was telling jokes or just reminiscing about the old days she always found the humor in it all. Shelved dancing even though she felt she couldn't. She taught me many dances and kept me up to date with them. Renee loved fashion. She always dressed accordingly and made sure to make a statement every time. No matter the occasion or outfit. Renee would let you know what went with what and what you could do to make it better. From your hair to makeup all the way down to your shoes. Never the one to hold her tongue. She was a very outspoken free spirit young lady. A quality not many people appreciated but let her get away with. She was very motivated, protective and nurturing. So, it was only natural for her to hand down those qualities to her beautiful children Bishop Campbell September 13th, 2011 and London Rene Campbell October 22, 2015.

Once she became a mother Renee knew that she had someone looking up to her at all times and that she would give her life to make sure that they had everything she felt she did not as a child. Her children made her better person. They pushed her to want more out of life not just for them but for herself. Renee worked so hard to make sure her children wanted for nothing. Determination, persistence and will to make this happen started to come into fruition as she started to excel in her position at Wholefoods as a Customer service Representative (boothie). She worked so hard to make sure she could provide for her family and grow with the company. She was on her way to the top and was excited as her dreams were coming true.  On October 8th, 2019 that the tender age of 31, God decided to call his angel home. Her death was sudden and expected by friend and family. She joins so many of our loved Angel's including her Great grandmother, great grandfather and her grandfather, great uncles and aunts.

Renee leaves behind her memory which will forever live through her son Bishop Campbell,

daughter London Campbell mother Aliasha Person, grandmother Patricia Henry, sister Dominique Campbell aunt Lashana Henry and Jennifer Henry, uncle Jamel Campbell, Carlton Henry Jr, John Maddox and Anthony Henry. Countless cousin Julie, Isaiah, Nicole, Denentria, Latisha and Teshawn to name a few. Among so many more friend, her entire Whole Foods extended family and other family members who loved, cherished and adored her.
