Mrs. Sarah Dean Howell departed this life and made her transition on Monday, November 24, 2018 in Brooklyn, New York. Sarah was born January 24, 1937 in Sandersville, Georgia to the parentage of Tommie Lee Bellmon and Minnie Maze Bellmon.
Sarah attended school in Washington County and relocated to Brooklyn, New York at a very young age where she married the love of her life, Mr. Jimmy Howell. Sarah worked until she retired. She enjoyed traveling, cooking and mentoring children of all ages.
Sarah was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy Howell, father, mother and siblings Detta Pierce, Hattie Murray, Eddie Mae Flournoy, Ann Brooks, Burman Bellmon and Tommie Bellmon and step brother Willie Lee Johnson.
Sarah will be sadly missed by one devoted son, Henry Carroll (Dawn) and one devoted brother, Willie Frank Bellmon of Brooklyn, New York; grandchildren, Chynna Carroll and Shavanva Carroll; brothers-in-law: Leroy Pierce, Sr. and Leo Flournoy, Jr. of Sandersville, GA; sister-in-law, Alice Johnson of Augusta, GA. She was loved deeply by her nieces and nephews. She leaves devoted nephews: Donnie Bellmon, Kirvin (Lynne) Flournoy, Leo (Nichelle) Flournoy, III, Leroy Pierce, Jr., Jonathan (Gloristine) Pierce, Kimber (Stacey) Pierce, Dwayne (Lisa) Bellmon, Dana Murray, Hammeron Murray; devoted nieces: Susie (Calvin) Tucker, Saralyn Flournoy, Mimi (Herman) Barron, Shdonna (Jackson) Drumgoole, Shorne Copeland Robinson and Danielle Jenkins; host of other relatives and friends.
