Arnulfo N. Dorville, who also went by, “Arnold” departed this life at the early age of 65 on Tuesday, April 7th 2020. He was born June 11, 1954 in Panama, Canal Zone, to the late Arnold and Florence Dorville.
Thereafter, at the young age of 4, Arnulfo, along with his family moved to Brooklyn, New York. He graduated from Erasmus Hall High School and went on to attend Borough of Manhattan Community College (BMCC). After college, Arnulfo went on to pursue a career on Wall Street at Shearson Lehman Brothers. Afterwards, he joined the NYC Department of Sanitation, where he was proud to serve for over 30 years.
Arnulfo was also an avid sports fan and played basketball every chance he could. Dedicated to the game he even went on to coach his son and many of his neighborhood friends, in many different leagues. He was also true Knicks and Giants fan.
Arnulfo genuinely loved his family and always made his presence known and did so with confidence and a smooth style.
Arnulfo was the devoted father to LeRone B. Dorville (Mia) and Chivonne A. Harrell (Clinton). A dear brother to Jacquline A. Dorville and Daryl J. Dorville. A loving grandfather to 11 grandchildren; LeRone, LaTrell, Clinton, Leayana, Madyson, Mariah, Jalah, Daveon, London, DeRone, and Omar. Devoted uncle to Jermaine Martin, Cyon and Neveah.
Arnulfo also leaves to cherish memories, his partner for over 20 years Betty Wilson and son Sean, lifetime friends Arturo Myers and Elton Andrews, and many other relatives and friends.
