Bettye Mann

Bettye Lee Daye-Mann  was born July 14, 1941 to late Gurthie and Bettye Rhem Daye in Vance County, North Carolina.  She departed this life on October 13, 2018 at Brookdale Medical Center, Brooklyn, NY.

Bettye  attended Vance County Public Schools, Kittrell Graded Elementary School and Henderson Institute High School.  She was an employee for the City of New York for many years.  Bettye  enjoyed her visits to North Carolina whenever she could.  She was the center of attention.  Bettye  will be missed at the next JULY occasion.  She was very well liked and loved by her community and served as the Vice President of her Tenant Patrol for Long Island Baptist.

She was a devoted member of First Baptist Church and served on the Usher Board.  Bettye  absolutely loved her church and church family.

She was preceded in death by her Husband: Felton Mann, Sr.; Daughter: Sonya Mann-Smith; three Brothers, Henry Daye, Nathaniel Daye and Clinton Daye; one sister, Gertie Epps all of Henderson, North Carolina.

Bettye  will be remembered and cherished by her Son: Felton Mann, Jr.; two Grandchildren: Kyle Mann-Smith and Cameron Smith; one Brother, Phillip Daye (Frankey); one sister, Daisy Cobb (John), a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends
