Elizabeth Gee Obituary

Elizabeth (“Liz”) Gee was born Elizabeth Ingrid Taylor to mother Umilta Taylor Charter and father Kenneth Taylor on September 29, 1960 in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies.

Liz married Michael Gee on May 21, 2007 at St. John the Baptist Church in New York City.

Liz attended primary and secondary schools, and later attended secretary school in Trinidad and Tobago, West Indies.  Liz came to United States and settled in New York City.  She decided to go back to school and became a Certified Nursing Assistant because she always enjoyed helping others.  Liz worked at Bronx Garden (formally St. Barnabas Nursing Home) for 8 years where she made lots of friends, as she did everywhere, she went.

Liz was well loved by all her co-workers and residents there. Liz enjoyed reading and writing poems.  Liz made her church home at St. John The Baptist Church where she attended regularly with her husband.

On March 11, 2019 the Lord called Elizabeth Ingrid Gee home to be with Him.

Liz will be profoundly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband Michael Gee, her mother Umilta Charter, her brothers and sisters Franklin Taylor, Dennis Champion, Lystra Alexander, Selwyn Taylor, Shirmin Prince, Kelly Cowan, Sherry Ann Charter, Enoch Charter, Jason Charter, Alisia Charter and a host of nephews, nieces, grand nephews, grandnieces and friends.
