Gladys Walter

On Sunday March 26, 2019 Gladys V. Walters, surrounded by her loved ones, said goodbye.

Gladys V. Walters was born March 28, 1933 in Kent County, Virginia to Logan and Beatrice Waters. At the age of thirteen, when her mother passed away, she went to live with her Aunt Bee in Atlantic City for a short time until her older sister Martha came to move her to New York City where she started a new life and started her career as a Binder for 23 years, thereafter, retiring in 1988.

Gladys V. Walters enjoyed spending time with and visiting her family and friends as well as attending events and special occasions. In her spare-time she enjoyed getting her hair and nails done, traveling, movies, dining out, and the park.

Gladys will be dearly missed as she leaves behind her only Daughter: Renee, Granddaughters: Yvette and Erica, Great-Grandkids: Devere and Erykah, Jah’iere, Jewelz and Great-Great Grandson: Princeton, Grandson-in Law: Dionisio and Son-in-law: Fraser, her Brother: John and a host of Nieces and Nephews.

Angels and Mother’s

There are Angels God puts on this Earth who care for us and guide us. You can feel their love and gentleness as they walk through life beside us.

They do great things for us every day they whisper in our ears, they even hold us in their hearts when we are filled with all our fears.

They are always there to give a hug, and try to make us smile. They treat us with respect and love, they treat us like their child.

God blessed me with an Angel, I’m proud to call my own. She’s been with me throughout my life, been with me as I’ve grown. She’s guided me the best she can, she’s taught me like no other, and I’m thankful I’m the lucky one who get to call her... Mom/Ma
