James Green Obituary
James Green was the son of the late Violar and Frazie Green. He is one of twelve children. He was born on August 25, 1950 in Lynchburg South Carolina. James graduated from Mount Pleasant high school. James worked for over 43 years as a clerk in the mailroom at Chase Bank.
James moved to New York City where he met and married Louise from New Jersey. Prior to their marriage ending, James and Louise had two daughters: Jamisha Louise and Shemeeka Nicole.
Years later James met and married Mary Murray in 2004.
James leaves behind to cherish his memories six brothers, Robert Greene “Ordia”, Jake Greene, Joe Greene Thomasina, Sammie Greene, John Greene (Arlene), Hubert Greene (Desiree). Three sisters, Freddie Mae Whidde, Ruby Wright and Viola (Baby Sister) Waiters. Two daughters, Janisha Louise Willock, Shemeeka Nicole Green. Eight grandchildren (Grainesville, GA), Nathaniel Willock, Isaiah Willock, Oliva Willock, Erick Willock, Daniel Willock, Calah Willock, Aaron Willock. three stepchildren Walter, Judy and Wilbert, two step-grandchildren: Sarah and Samahjae, numerous
nieces, nephews, best friend Von and a host of family and friends.
James was loved by all he met along his life’s journey. He will be missed by all.
Preceded him in death – sister Addie Bell Green, Shirley Mae Green McClain.
