Nathaniel Patterson was born on October 20, 1941 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. His parents were Fred Patterson and Eliza Butler Patterson. Nathaniel is the second youngest of nine siblings (four sisters and four brothers). He entered eternal rest, September 25, 2018 at NYU Hospital.
Nathaniel’s occupation was a Foreman supervisor for over 30 years at Tulnoy Lumber in Bronx, NY. He also worked side jobs on the weekend to provide a better living for his family. Nathaniel was a devoted husband and father to his family. Nathaniel enjoyed spending his free time with his family including watching scary movies, taking family road trips and family picnics. He enjoyed watching wrestling, westerns and sporting events on T.V.
Nathaniel was a GOD-Fearing man that believed strongly in family values. He was a hard worker, a protector and a humble man. He set a great example for others to emulate. Nathaniel would sacrifice anything to make sure his family was taken care of.
Nathaniel Patterson married his longtime friend Janet Glover from St. Matthews South Carolina on December 28, 1960. From this union, they had five children (three daughters and two sons).
Nathaniel leaves to cherish his memories; his Wife: Janet Patterson, his Children: Monica Ramdarsingh, Denise Davis, Victor Patterson, Stephanie Wilson and Jermaine Patterson. His Son-in-Law: March and Daughter-in-Law: Dee. Thirteen grandchildren: Sorona, Bianca, Veronica, Francene, Demilla, Hamal, Tyrell, Isaiah, Donte, Kiara, Jasmine, Ja'Liyah and Jalen; two great grandchildren Quadir and Nia, and a host of nieces and nephews.
Nathaniel will be forever missed by us all.
