Shana 'INDYA' Poulson Obituary
Shana Latrice Poulson also known as “Indya” was born on May 29, 1976 to Debra Elaine Taub and Glen Griswald in the Bronx N.Y.
Shana was the oldest of 5 siblings, she attended St. Augustine Catholic school as well as Tilden and Canarsie High Schools.
At the age of 19 Shana gave birth to Trevon Sutherland where she devoted her life to motherhood for him and four brothers that followed thereafter, Laquan, Ceon, Robert and Karter.
Throughout her life she was always a socialite, the life of the party and always had jokes. If you really knew Shana, you knew that she loved to cook and would feed anyone. Shana had a big heart and was always willing to help someone in need. Shana accepted people from all walks of life.
She was a loving mother, daughter, sister and aunt. Shana wasn’t perfect but still managed to do lots of good. She was taken too soon but will forever be remembered for her welcoming and fun-loving personality. She will be missed my many.
Shana leaves behind her Sons: Trevon, Laquan, Ceon, Robert and Karter, Mother: Debra Elaine Poulson, Father: Glen Griswald, Brothers: Shannon, Byron, and Randy, Sister: Sheena, Elaine, and Stacey Sister-in-law: Inger Battle
Uncle: Nathaniel Daniels aka Uncle Boobie and God Mother: Jaretta Allen aka Big Mommy.
She will forever be missed!
